"Opera Under The Tent"
Held every 2 years.
Wedmore, Somerset: UK

On Monday 21st April 2008 approx 4.30 pm UK time my mate and yours, Bill Harrison passed away.

They say "Golden fruit doesn't fall far from the tree". So my question is "Where do you find the golden tree, in the first place".

Well the first clue is:   You go down yonder to Somerset, where they speak with drawn out vowels, and orchards of the humble apple tree sprinkle the landscape.

The second clue:   If you were prepared to turn the corner and ready to change your outlook on life, then there is a cottage, a Corner Cottage in Hozzard Lane no less, with a kettle brewing for the next cuppa tea.

The third clue:    Well Bill was a fireman who had learnt to deal with the elements of fire, water, air, earth and spent years as the union man administrating compassion to his fellow working mates.

The fourth clue:   Bill was short in stature, built for comfort not for speed but was a giant of a man in life. His infections smile and his panache for teddy bears would have told you that.

His change in career from Fireman to become a world leader in complimentary healing (former president of World Federation of Healers) his on-stage road show performances in UK with his team and here in Australia , to teaching workshops and then his build it and they will come "Healing Festivals" held in summer on his 4 acre field in Somerset.
His philosophy was to give everybody the opportunity to try or see first hand, complementary, alternative, spiritual modalities from a variety of therapists and practitioners that Bill had managed to round up from around the world.

This put Bill at the top of the tree, his whole persona was the golden apple, he was so heavy and so full of goodness that the branch at the top of the tree simply leant over and let him touch the ground so he didn't have far to fall and thus he became the Golden Fruit which doesn't fall far from the tree. (meanwhile if you click the archive section and scroll down to Bills Big Day at Weston Supa Mare and Clevedon you can see I have started loaded up the photos .. Australia now loaded I still have many more to put up, so its work in progress)  Cheers Jeff. love yah
