Overseas guest places A$2.00 into the Yellow Cab call box at Springwood Bus Station and obtains a yellow Cab ride from bus station to our studio for interview and gets slugged A$25.00 for a 3 km journey that costs on average A$10.00. What you have to do ... Is obtain the Cab's Id Number, ask for a legitimate receipt, strike up a conversation with driver so you can get a first and family name, make a note of the Cab's registration number and time of pick up or drop off.
Then with these details you can approach Yellow Cabs who will state they do 20,000 pick ups per day which is their first line of defense to flick you off but that's when you come in with the ammunition and they have to investigate and substantiate that the exorbitant price requires a refund.
