Bill's Healing Festival
05
This year it was held 8th July to 10th July |
| This was the last year in
Bill's 4 acre property, the big blue Welcome sign hung on Bill's
gate for the last time, car parking and camping had moved into the farmers field
across the lane. |
 |
 |
| The
blue skies and endless sun shine was incredible it was a beautiful English
summer that we had read about but seldom seen. Here in an Englishman's
country garden it was as if mother nature her self had kicked in and flowered on cue
and the people came and they absorb it all. |

 |
The local farm animals would come running
up and stick
their heads through the fence and want to be part of the action.
This is a marvelous occasion and
if you can come at least once in your life time, you should, if only to
smell the roses. |

|
Some times you have to stop and pinch
yourself and Ask yourself "do you work to live or live to work." |
|
Bill's 4 acres were filled with marquee's
and tents of all shapes and sizes, Adam Yellowbird from Arizona set up a
Teepee and for 2 days before the event kept a fire burning 24/7 to seal
the tent and prepare it for his healing practices that would take place
over the next 3 days. From smudging to story telling to drumming and
chanting, Adam Yellowbird touched so many people with the beliefs and
understanding of the Red man, that is the nature of this healing
weekend, to introduce you to another concept for healing. |
| The porta loo's were in Bill's field, no showers so for
campers who wanted to stay for the three (3) days they were roughing it,
they enjoyed the spirit of the occasion some ducked down to the local
services on the m5 and used the showers and got them selves a road house
breakfast to start the day. |

The most amazing scene was the one played
out by the rabbit and the local cat, for the record the cat turned her
back on the rabbit and walked away. "there was a lot of love going
on" |
