Bryson Canyon
On our recent trip to the Four Corners
area
We had heard so much about Bryson Canyon that we had to have a look.
There is only one road in and it sweeps you across the top of an 18 mile plateau
it does not take you to the Canyon floor rather you will ascend to an altitude
of 9,115 feet.
We travelled in spring yet the road had been closed three days before due to
snow drifts so we recommend you wear covered footwear with woollen socks,
jacket, gloves and have a beanie for your head and really do your self a favour
and take a hot thermos filled with soup, coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
We spent two days here and felt Bryson Canyon was superior to the Grand Canyon

The full map |
 |
I divided the full map into half so
that you could click the map and it will open to a larger
format on a new page for you to read. It's
18 miles from the park entrance to Rainbow Point (end of road) there are
toilets at various lookouts but no food or hot drink outlets within the
park.
We recommend you purchase the 12 month National
Park Pass covers up to 5 persons in a vehicle approx US$80.00 and you
can visit any National Park. |
